Submission Guidelines

  1. Don’t break the setting — read existing stories and/or world guide first so your story fits within the existing world and characters.
  2. Standard copyright rules apply. That means you can’t play with anyone else’s characters unless they give you permission.
  3. The world belongs to me, I give you permission to play in it and use any and all characters I introduce to it on this site. If you want to use this work or these characters elsewhere, you need to get my permission first.
  4. Stories should be queer and feminist (duh). However, these words do mean different things to different people, so here’s what I mean by them: stories should include queer characters who are not stereotypes and/or should queer existing notions of relationships and/or kink. All characters, and women in particular, should have agency and shape the story in some fashion. (This includes choosing to give up their agency. Choosing to give up agency is an act agency. But their agency can’t be stolen from them or never exist in the first place. Yes, slaves have agency.)
4.1 My feminism is based in intersectionality with a strong dose of womanism.
  5. The basic setting implies, and arguably requires, noncon relationship. However (see: #4), I am tweaking this setting (see #1) to make this more con noncon and allow for straight up consent without noncon. No straight up noncon kink/sex stories will be accepted. Con noncon stories should respect the gravity and riskiness of that relationship style.
5.1 Stories where characters are escaping or have survived prior noncon, abusive con noncon, and general rape or abuse will be accepted as long as the story focuses on recovery and emphasizes the survivor’s agency in that recovery.
5.2 Straight up sword-and-sorcery with noncon stuff in the background is fine. Noncon happens, especially with politics and war and stuff. Just… no ‘sexy’ noncon, okay?
  6. M/f stories need to be amazing to get accepted. There are lots of M/f kinky power fantasies out there already and honestly, I’m burnt out on them. I’m hoping to get some M/f on here, because that is part of this world. But they will be a minority, and you’d better hit your story right out of the park. Also, queer M/f stories are about 1000x more likely to be accepted.
  7. This world is not America. Nor is it Europe. White people make up less than 20% of Earth’s population and this world is similar. Keep that in mind.
  8. Few things drive me crazier in fiction than people ignoring basic population dynamics. This society will not be dying out in the next generation or two. Therefore, kids exist. Kids exist in large numbers. You don’t need to include them in your stories (you’d better not include them in any of the sex stuff). But keep it in mind when you are writing. For instance, public parks are public. If you want to write outdoor sex-stuff, keep it on private property or in the middle of the wilderness.
8.1 Similarly, old people exist. Don’t be afraid to write some.
  9. While I have my squicks, I’m not particularly picky in my power exchange. This world is built on an M/s dynamic, but if you want to write a pony story or something else go for it.
  10. No snuff.
  11. Kink focused stories are okay. Sword-and-sorcery/sword-and-soul stories with kink in them are preferred.

If you want to submit a story, email me with your idea and if I don’t see any problems with it, I’ll set you up with a contributors account on this site.
